Dr. Rodney B. Norling
Dr. Norling is a Bay Area native, growing up in Sunnyvale and graduating from Fremont High School. Dr. Norling earned his BS in biology from Santa Clara University and his DDS from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington DC. He loved his dental school experience learning from an amazing faculty including his favorite mentor, Dr. William K. Bottomley who chaired the Oral Diagnosis Department.
Dr. Norling has served as a member of the Board of Directors, the Convalescent Care Committee, and the Peer Review Committee for the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society. His passion for dental health and access to care has motivated him to serve at “CDA Cares” events and to travel to Ghana in conjunction with the nonprofit Kaeme Foundation to teach dental health in orphanages. He is a Life member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Norling is committed to community service as well. He has served as a Scoutmaster, AYSO and Little League coach, been awarded a PTA honorary service award for his work in middle and high school music programs, and also served in multiple positions for his church.
Dr Norling and his wife Mary Anne are the proud parents of three married children and especially proud grandparents of two amazing granddaughters. He is most happy when he is in the mountains where he loves to ski, hike, boat, bike, or dabble with photography.
