What are Invisalign Clear Aligners & How Do They Work?
Invisalign® is an orthodontic system that uses a series of clear teeth aligners to gradually straighten teeth. These smooth plastic aligners are custom made to fit comfortably over teeth and are worn throughout the day and overnight. When it’s mealtime or time to brush and floss, they are can be easily removed and popped back into place.
Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks before being traded for the next set. A specialized software designs each set of aligners, which differ slightly from one set to the next in order to gradually move your teeth into proper alignment.

Had a great experience with my hygenist and really liked Dr. Van. While I agree with some other reviewers that while it was expensive ( I am pretty sure it was not my network), I had heard great things and was about to move forward on Invisalign treatment.Then I got a bill for past service (weird, I know I paid at the time of the work being done). When I called to inquire I was notified my insurance was capped out and thus it was my responsibility. Make complete sense and I paid the owed amount.Here is my frustration. I have only been to this office this year. They had the details of my insurance and in my past dental office experiences, I have always had front office staff who helped me understand (ahead of time), my insurance, and would cover and what my costs would be. While I understand that estimates do change, a swing of over $500 in client responsible fees, based on my insurance running out for the year, should have been identified, communicated, and a backup plan discussed when it was caught that a new plan not accounting for insurance would need to be discussed.What really bothers me is that what was left on my insurance should have been identified at the time of my dental plan being created. Assuming that a mistake was made and caught, I was never told there was an error on the estimate, I just received a $550 bill with no explanation on why the adjustment was made. Plain and simple, not sure I can trust the staff at theDo not recommend this location. The front desk was not competent with my account and I do not have confidence that they are on top of client accounts.Update:I want to take a moment to update my review of Dental Arts of Mountain View. I received a call today that I really appreciated. Sheila took the time to LISTEN to me and ensure I felt heard before we hung up. She went out of her way to make sure my experience ended positively with their staff and organization. I will say that worked and I appreciate her taking the time to connect. I did not expect to leave this dental office with appreciative feelings but I am. Great job on the recovery Sheila!
Such a lovely place for me and my teeth! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, they always remember me and ask about my family, the whole facility is immaculate, and while they recommend options they never try to push extra services on me. The cost is competitive for Silicon Valley and they accept insurance and flex spending accounts so I waltz right out the door with no hassle! Happy teeth and BEE! 😁🪥🦷🐝🧡🙏✨
Excellent and professional care for replacement of two crowns by Dr. Van and his able assistant, Lo. Clear explanations as he proceeded, Dr. Van's manner was warm, reassuring and expert. I am squeamish about dental care, and they made me feel so safe, calm and reassured. I am happy to recommend the entire office.
Amber did a meticulous prophy and was very gentle. She identified and photographed a gazillion glitches in my teeth, so we have a visual and radiographic baseline. Dr. Indah has done an amazing job creating an appliance to address my sleep apnea caused by my four bicuspid extractions as a child for braces. My sleep apnea is entirely resolved.Thanks to a great team.
I have been coming here for 10 years. But the practice has changed - they only seem to care about volume and keep assigning me a different hygenist every time I visit - she didn't even know my name this last time. Surly, bossy, condescending too, when I requested a much less invasive X-ray schedule as per ADA guidelines for people with no known dental issues. There are some great people here but management is out of touch with patient care and management. I'm out.

Dr. Indah is one of the best dentists I've ever seen. In particular, her expertise on sleep apnea combined with dentistry skill has been incredibly useful for developing my strategies to deal with aging teeth and apnea. She is very patient explaining her recommendations and answering questions to ensure I understand what to expect and why I should benefit. Highly recommend.

Your Consultation With Our Mountain View Invisalign Dentists
During your consultation, our Invisalign dentists will carefully examine your teeth and jaw. They will evaluate your orthodontic issues and explain your treatment options.
Most patients with mild to moderate misalignment are candidates for Invisalign, however, if you have more severe misalignment or your case is more complex, they may recommend traditional orthodontics instead.
Once you and our doctors determine that Invisalign is right for you, they will take impressions of your teeth and use those impressions to develop your treatment plan.
When your aligners are ready, you will return to our office to pick them up. Our doctors will ensure they fit properly and provide you with detailed instructions on caring for them. You will wear each set of clear teeth aligners for two weeks, and every six weeks you will return to our office to monitor your progress.
